We follow the Gers for all their matches so you don't miss either the game or the atmosphere when you come to our pub in Gran Canaria, and we also cover all other major sporting events on our big screens here. |
We´ve stepped up to a new era!On 2nd November 2007 the new expanded Highlander Bar in Puerto Rico opened its doors and new terrace for the first time! We have merged the current bars to create one new enhanced Rangers Supporters Club in Gran Canaria in Puerto Rico, and we have also extended and improved our website! Everyone loves the changes we have introduced which have made the Highlander the place to watch live sport and join the fun in Puerto Rico |

The new Highlander Bar combines the traditional feel of a Scottish bar we created in the Highlander, with the relaxed seating and sunshine of a pool bar on our private terrace. You can find lots more photos of the new bar in the Photo Gallery. Also please have a wee look around our new web site, and let us know what you think of the new look, the new colours and design. One of the major features is the 'latest news blog' so Alex can keep you uptodate with all the latest news about the Highlander and the full range of Live Sports we show here.

Great nite in the Highlander last nite....after the game that is......bloody crapping ourselves during it...the Highlander..or sports castle as it is now in playa del ingles is due to be sold on the 1st of june now...( where have we heard that before)..but it is still showing all the Rangers games and will continue to due so under the new owner....so there is still a haven in playa for gers fans.
